I had a bliss time last week in Ibiza with my family. Obviously Ibiza is known for the whole clubbing vibe - but for me it was not that kind of holiday (unlike my Magaluf venture a few years ago). It was nice to have a quiet, relaxing time by the beach/pool with either a trashy magazine or Vogue or my book. Some cocktails in the evening in the family oriented, stunning waters and views of Portinatx. If you are looking for a getaway that's affordable and beautiful at the same time then I would definitely recommend this part of Ibiza. The Island has been quite popular this year with a range of bloggers. Victoria from Inthefrow and Sammi from The Beauty Crush stayed there a few weeks ago and it's easy to see why.
We had an all inclusive hotel but wandered out the odd evening to grab a bite to eat. A Mexican called Zulu Lounge with a sea view is a total must and is rated number 2 for best Restaurants in Portinatx on tripadvisor. A warm evening looking at the sea with a rich and fruity jug of Sangria and a burrito. Perfect.
I really needed this break and I have come back feeling so refreshed. I have so many places that I would like to visit but I am taking things one step at a time. I would love to be a blogger who traveled here there and everywhere (Amy from The Little Magpie I envy you) but I am just going to carry on working hard and take a holiday when I can each year. Greece Santorini, Thailand, New York, Paris are all on my bucket list. Let's see what happens, I'm only 22.
